Sausages, pretzels and beer, oh my! The first keg was tapped in Munich this past Saturday which catapults us into the highly, if not the most, anticipated and celebrated beer festivals in the world. Not only is it a time when Bavarian culture is adopted with vigor, where lederhosen and dirndl clad folks listen to polka music, but also an occasion when people clink their steins and talk beer, their go-to oldies and favourite new craft brew.
Although, technically, Oktoberfest ends on October 3rd, Canadians keep it going throughout October and really, why not? If you’re itching to get out and join the party, check out these upcoming events from West to East coasts. Prost!
