Blonde Lemon Mussels

A simple, elevated seafood dish made with Partake Blonde. These steamed mussels are bright, garlicky, and perfect for summer entertaining with crusty bread and a cold Blonde on the side.

Blonde Partake with a bowl of lemon mussels

 

Ingredients:


lb mussels, cleaned and debearded 
1 tbsp olive oil 
2 tbsp butter 
3 cloves garlic, minced 
1 small shallot, finely chopped 
1 can Partake Blonde 
Juice of 1/2 lemon 
1/4 cup parsley, chopped 
1 tsp Dijon mustard, optional 
Black pepper 

Crusty bread, for serving 

Directions:
1. Rinse mussels and discard any that are cracked or do not close when tapped.
2. In a large pot, heat olive oil and butter over medium heat.
3. Add shallot and garlic. Cook for 1–2 minutes until fragrant. 
4. Add Partake Blonde, lemon juice, Dijon if using, and black pepper. 
5. Add mussels, cover, and steam for 5–7 minutes until opened.
6. Discard any unopened mussels.
7. Finish with parsley and serve with crusty bread.
