Ingredients:
1 whole chicken (4-5lbs is best) 1 can Partake IPA 2 tbsp olive oil 1 tbsp garlic powder 1 tbsp onion powder 1 tbsp smoked paprika 1 tsp dried thyme 1 tsp salt 1/2 tsp black pepper 1 tsp chili flakes (optional) Juice of half a lemon
Directions: 1. Prepare the chicken: Pat the chicken dry with paper towel. Remove any excess dat and truss the legs together. 2. Season: Rub the chicken all over with olive oil. In a small bowl, mix together seasonings then distribute evenly over the chicken. 3. Prepare the can: Open the can of IPA and pour out a little if needed (drinking it is the preferred method to avoid waste). Place on a baking sheet or roasting pan. 4. Assemble: Carefully place the chicken over the can so it sits upright with the an inside the bird cavity. 5. Grill or roast: Cook at 350°F/175°C for about 75 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F/64°C in the thickest part of the breast 6. Carefully remove the chicken and let it rest for 10-15 minutes before carving
