Blonde Grilled Peach Shortcake

Juicy grilled peaches, a lightly sweet Partake Blonde syrup, whipped cream, and buttery biscuitscome together for an easy summer dessert made for the BBQ.

Ingredients

For the peaches

4 ripe peaches, halved and pitted
1 tbsp melted butter
1 tbsp brown sugar
1/2 tsp cinnamon
Pinch of salt 

For the Partake Blonde syrup
1/2 cup Partake Blonde
2 tbsp honey or maple syrup
1 tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Pinch of salt 

For serving

4 shortcake biscuits, pound cake slices, or store-bought biscuits
1 cup whipped cream or vanilla Greek yogurt
Lemon zest or Fresh mint, optional  

Make the syrup: Add Partake Blonde, honey or maple syrup, brown sugar, lemon juice, vanilla, and salt to a small saucepan. Simmer over medium heat for 6–8 minutes, until slightly reduced and glossy. Set aside.

Prep the peaches: Brush the cut sides of the peaches with melted butter. Sprinkle with brown sugar, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt. 

Grill:Place peaches cut-side down on a medium-hot grill. Grill for 3–4 minutes until caramelized, then flip and grill for another 1–2 minutes.

Assemble:Split biscuits or place cake slices on plates. Top with grilled peaches, whipped cream, and a drizzle of Partake Blonde syrup.

Finish: Add fresh mint or lemon zest if desired. Serve warm.
